Quiet Obsession

Another incredible read by I.A. Dice, if you haven’t picked up one of her books yet you are missing out. This is the first book in what I believe is a new series (so a great place to start) with our main characters Mille and Creed. Trauma has shaped both of them into who they are; Millie having gone selectively mute and Creed fighting anything and everything in his way. Although the two couldn’t be more different, the pull between them is undeniable and the tension will havin

Still

“You’re not just beautiful, River. You’re… whole. Finished. Perfect in a way that doesn’t ask for more.” Wow. Black love at its finest. Seeing black wealth with such strong values and patience and trust… was beautiful. I loved how Everett showed his loved, quietly, in the background and through acts of service. Love doesn’t need to be loud or obnoxious to be felt. River was so strong and after the battles she faced deserved a strong man to treat her well. I related so much to

Out of her League

This book is for all the girlies who are hyper independent and have no idea how a man will fit into their life. As someone who does everything by herself and am looking for someone to add value to her life, Isa and her story spoke to me. Austin was patient and mesmerized by Isa and her passion for work and I loved how he let her put herself first until she reached her goals. So many good quotes, I loved this one so so much!! Book Rating: 5/5 Spice Rating: 3/5

Pick Me

I am a sucker for a lil sports romance and a situation that calls for fake dating so it makes sense that I absolutely loved this book! Our FMC Brooke joins in friend in a casual game of Pickleball having negative experience with sports. Upon playing, develops a healthy crush on a fellow player and decides to become a better player to get his attention. His best friend, Owen, decides to help her win the guy by giving her lessons and this is where the book starts to get interes

Just for the Cameras

Another great one from MQ!! I cannot get over how interconnected her series are. While I have done my best to keep up with her limitless writing, she continues to world build in such a creative way by giving side characters their time to shine while continuing to give us new plots with new characters to fall for. I absolutely loved the vibes between Maple and Graydon. I am obsessed with MQ’s more realistic crash cutes (because not every first interaction can be a meet cute),

Best for Last

Two of my favorite tropes are the friends-to-lovers trope and the fake dating trope... So you can imagine how sat I was with this book. As the trade deadline comes up, Charlie fears leaving the team he's been on for years. He knows he needs to change his image and become more integrated to the teams brand, but an incident in high school holds him back from being able to open up to people. Now, with limited time and luck on his side, he has to fake date him and his sisters bes

Summer of Love

Such a cute and well written book☺️ The story was so sweet; hot neighbor friend and newly single girl go on a trip together and are finally able to appreciate their similarities and feelings for each other. Jesse is everything you want to see in a man. Someone who notices when you need space and is secure enough to give it to you, but can also be extremely protective and caring. Clara was so smart and emotionally intelligent. Even when she was hurting or upset, she handled ev

Until Forever Falls

A book hasn’t made me cry in so long🥺… This one ripped my heart out and stitched it back together. Micah wrote a beautiful story about love and grief and finding oneself. One of those reads that I simply could not put down. Dylan, Brooks and all the other characters were so real and their fears and emotions were so easy to feel through the pages. I am so grateful to be able to work with such amazing and talented people. Thank you Micah Riley and Ember Literary PR for this AR

The Charmer

"There isn't anything broken that can't be fixed." I enjoy a fluffy romance as much as the next person, but I LOVE when authors can write something a little deeper. Penelope has everything planned out. Her spreadsheets are in order and she is on top of her to-do lists. The only thing holding her back is a tiny hiccup in her inheritance that says she has to get married... Xander is our laid back, golden retriever who's been pining over an woman set to marry someone else. One t

Salt to the Sea

Still reeling from all the emotions I felt in this book. While this book is fictional, it's based on real life events that happened and I'm sure the story hits close to home for some. We are quickly introduced to four main characters; each one with a different "hunter" that shapes their mindset and story as they tell it from their perspectives. The events that take place in this book are graphic and not for the faint of heart and as hard as it was to read, I understand the im

Ultra 85

I may be biased when it comes to Logic, but his creativity never ceases to amaze me... For fans of his music who have been hearing about Ultra 85 for over a decade, it was an unreal experience to get to learn more about the characters who've been teased in the outros of his songs. If you're looking for a completely original, sci-fi, action-packed read, I highly recommend diving into this one. It was an absolute rollercoaster of a ride, but I loved every minute of it!!

Deep End

No one's surprised, but in case you didn't hear, Ali wrote another hit. As a former student-athlete in college myself, I actually geeked out by how accurate she portrayed the work-life balance of our main characters. The time demands are no joke and the fact that they were earning arguably some of the hardest degrees, at Stanford nonetheless, was so impressive. For me, I will always eat up a book with a possessive MMC and Lukas gave protective a whole new meaning. His dom per

Bonds of Obsession

In true Eva Ashwood form, book 3 gets absolutely batsh!t crazy and I'm here for it !! All the things Quinn and her men have been though look like a walk in the park up until this point. While we know this all started as an arranged marriage for both of their groups to look stronger together, they're out of their league when they come up against The Syndicate; and they are somehow even more ruthless then Nico, Atlas and Killian combined. This book has it all: nail-biting fight

The Path to Loving Him

Ugh Meghan… How does she simultaneously write the silliest little stories AND make me blubber like a baby. This just moved up the list and is taking the top spot as my new favorite book by her. Everything from the sweet moments with Mac, to the spicy shower scenes were done so well and it was so easy to get lost in the pages. Hearing the words Uncle Dad is a sure way to make me lose it now, but above all I am so grateful for the Almond Bay crew. No one else looks out for thei

All My Love

Second-chance romance is really growing on me, and it's all Morgan Elizabeth's fault... As a communications major, second-chance romances usually end in the first place because of some issue rooted/deep misunderstanding that ultimately could’ve been resolved if the MC’s acted like the adults they were and talked it out. So when I found out there was a solid reason why they broke up and that they hadn’t wasted 7 years of their life was a breath of fresh air. In true Morgan Eli

Bridesmaid for Hire

Well if this isn’t a classic MQ book, I don’t know what is😂 After everything our MMC Brody went through, we’re just happy he’s still alive. He never stood a chance of making it through this book without giving us a little (or a lot) of second hand embarrassment. I loved this book and it’s set up for the rest of the Bridesmaids series. Overall this book was a good time, so if you’re looking for a lighthearted read that’s sure to have you kick in your feet and giggling for 60%

The Puck Arrangment

A hockey romance where they’re roommates and secretly dating? Yes, please! When a hiccup comes up in Bridget and her best friend’s lease agreement, they’re forced to give up their dream of a simple senior year and move in with 2 hockey players; one of whom being the captain, Lane, that spilled his drink on Bridget the weekend before. Even though it wasn’t the senior year they were expecting, Lane and Bridget start an unlikely friendship and even they can’t predict what happen

The Kingmaker

Have you ever been halfway through a book and known that it was going to be your new favorite read? That’s how I felt reading my first Kennedy Ryan book. I’ll admit, I didn’t know much about this book going into it. I won it in a giveaway and finally decided to pick it up and see what all the hype was about. And I’m so glad I did. The entire book was a rollercoaster of emotions. On paper, Lennix and Maxim are so different, but they worked so well together. As fate would have

Beartown

Culture. Values. Community. These are not only the standards hanging from the rafters in the town's ice rink, but a few of the many themes that come up time and time again throughout the novel. They are tested and bent and broken and by the end of the book, no character is left untouched by the damages. This small, hockey-centered town is striving for a championship to put themselves on the map and at the same time, a tragic incident is uncovered and the news will shock Beart

Too Long

Every time I think the series can’t get better, I.A Dice does it again… This series spans SEVERAL years and ends with the triplets...
