I enjoy a fluffy romance as much as the next person, but I LOVE when authors can write something a little deeper.

Penelope has everything planned out. Her spreadsheets are in order and she is on top of her to-do lists. The only thing holding her back is a tiny hiccup in her inheritance that says she has to get married...

Xander is our laid back, golden retriever who's been pining over an woman set to marry someone else. One thing leads to another and suddenly he's being asked to fake marry her so she can get her shares and get on with her life.

While our MC's appear fine on the surface, they both carry some baggage that keeps them from fulling trusting people. But when you find your person, those broken pieces don't feel as big anymore.

I really enjoyed this book and think Xander has officially taken the crown for my favorite MMC in this series. He was patient and kind, but also completely obsessed and demanding in the bedroom.
