Wow. Black love at its finest.


Seeing black wealth with such strong values and patience and trust… was beautiful.


I loved how Everett showed his loved, quietly, in the background and through acts of service. Love doesn’t need to be loud or obnoxious to be felt.


River was so strong and after the battles she faced deserved a strong man to treat her well.


I related so much to River and wanting someone to show up for me and was so happy that she got that happy ending she deserved.


So many good quotes and definitely a solid read.
