A hockey romance where they’re roommates and secretly dating? Yes, please!
When a hiccup comes up in Bridget and her best friend’s lease agreement, they’re forced to give up their dream of a simple senior year and move in with 2 hockey players; one of whom being the captain, Lane, that spilled his drink on Bridget the weekend before.
Even though it wasn’t the senior year they were expecting, Lane and Bridget start an unlikely friendship and even they can’t predict what happens next.
I love Trinity and have been following her author journey for several years now. With her break through into sports romance I was pumped to finally read her newest book.
That being said, there were a lot of plot lines going on in this book. Both Lane and Bridget had their own personal issues going on that I felt took away from their story together. There’s a fine line between adding drama that helps the story and and adding too much that it hurts it.
I definitely wanted more moments of Lane and Bridget and was surprised when the side characters Crew and Kota overshadowed them in some chapters.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it to any fans of hockey romance and forced proximity.
Thank you to Trinity for sending me this ARC and allowing me to help promote this cutie book. I love Lane and am already looking forward to what you come out with next ;)
