Spookily Yours

A spooky, magical, spice, Halloween read? Say less. This book was exactly what I expected it to be and it was perfect. An adorably witchy read. I really enjoyed the fast paced plot, this book was not messing around. It had me hooked from the start and before I knew it, it was over.

My only hang up (and a relatively minor one at that) was I wish the climax had a little more to it. Throughout most of the book, it was hinted that something huge was going to happen at the end, so when it got there, I was a little let down. What should have, in my opinion, had some drama and a fight or something at the end, was super casual and lowkey boring.

It set up well for a second book, but again I was looking for something at the end that I felt was lacking. I sat down and read this in one sitting so definitely super light and fluffy that flies by. Overall, if you’re looking for a cute read this Halloween season, I would highly recommend this. It was a super easy read and gave me all the fall feels.
