Promise Me Always

This ARC definitely caught me by surprise (in the best way possible with a teddybear of a man named Milo).

I had the pleasure of getting an early copy through Valentine PR which I am so grateful for, but I was also super nervous to start it because it is the fourth book in the Redemption Hills series. I was prepared to be confused about the characters and the plot jumping into the series like this, but the book was so well written that I not only understood everything that was going on, but immediately fell in love with the characters and am already excited to go back and see what I missed in the first three books.

In this novel, the story focuses on Milo and Tessa, the only female in her squad known as the fantastic foursome, who’s not married. After an incident leaves Tessa either facing homelessness or stuck in a horrible living situation, Milo decides to take her in until she gets back on her feet.

This book takes us on an emotional journey as we dig into the dark past of Milo and see how his and Tessa’s lives connect in a way that neither of them saw coming…

I loved how both of their pasts helped them relate to each other and brought them together despite thinking they don’t deserve each other (it also gets extra bonus points for having the most adorable kids fiction has ever seen).

Did I forget to mention this falls under the single father trope?

This is a must read: check out the other three books in the series or skip right to this one like I did. Excited for everyone to fall in love with Milo the same way I did <3 !
